Evariste Karangwa was the pioneer of integration for students with disabilities in Rwanda’s secondary education (1995-1999), the country’s first Professor of Inclusive Education, and the founding Dean of the School of Inclusive & Special Needs Education in the University of Rwanda (2014-2024).
